Scenario of the theatrical program "Christmas". A Christmas Tale (theatrical performance script) The Light of Christmas theatrical performance script

Christmas tale (script of theatrical performance)

Part 1. “And there was a miracle on earth.”

Music plays (“The Nutcracker”).

Presenter. Snow clouds roll and gather in fluff, a blizzard creeps up, powders the paths, sweeps with might and main, hits your eyes, blinds you. And the windy wind, rising like a whirlwind, plays across the field, bursts into the warm hut in clouds: don’t open, don’t open the door to the frost! And it is precisely during this cold, frosty, unkind time that one of the oldest, brightest, most beautiful and cheerful holidays falls - the Nativity of Christ. And this holiday is called so because it was at this time that a baby was born - the son of God, and his mother, the Virgin Mary, gave him the name Jesus, which means Savior.

The holy, solemn night quietly fell to the ground, bringing with it great joy to people. This happened in the distant southern country of Judea.

1st reader. By the will of Caesar that year

Within the borders of Judea

The census was going on everywhere. People,

I don’t dare resist the authorities,

Striving in a crowded crowd

From places of residence via long-distance travel

To register in your native city,

Where he and his fathers were from.

And not noticeable by anyone -

In a crowd noisy like an element,

For the same thing to the city of Bethlehem

Joseph and Mary went.

Commanding Decree

Called out in blind obedience,

And even this time there was

Fulfillment of heavenly will,

Although poor Bethlehem

Was considered poor, but from there

The Jews waited, meanwhile,

The leader of Israel, like a miracle.

Already from the darkness of gray times

From there it was fathers and sons

The coming of Christ is foretold

Prophets with prophetic lips.

2nd reader. It was already late. Throwing in the darkness,

The evening descended deaf and dumb,

When Mary and Joseph

We arrived in slumbering Bethlehem.

Among the crowded hotels

They, having not found shelter,

We stopped in a mountain cave,

Where the spicy smell of herbs wafted

And the herds converged for the night.

Presenter. This mysterious great night, on which the savior of the world was born, was unusually quiet. Miracles have happened throughout the universe...

"Ave Maria" sounds.

1st reader. At the same hour, in the cave where the Baby was born, a source of water splashed out of the stone.

2nd reader. In Spain at night a cloud appeared in the sky, seemingly lighter than the sun.

1st reader. An idol temple collapsed in Rome.

2nd reader. In the holy land of Palestine, a vineyard blossomed this winter.

Presenter. On that holy night when Christ was born in Bethlehem, not only people rejoiced at this event: all nature, majestic and bright, rejoiced, and brought all its gifts to the feet of Christ the Child.

A Christmas tree, a palm tree, an olive tree, and an angel appear.

Leading. At the very entrance to the cave where the Baby lay, there were three trees: a slender palm tree, a beautiful fragrant olive, a modest green spruce. The rustling of their branches became more and more joyful, more animated, and suddenly words were clearly heard in it.

Palm (addresses the olive tree). Let us go and worship the divine Child and offer our gifts.

Olive. Let's go to.

Christmas tree. Take me with you.

Palm (proudly). Where are you going with us?

Olive (mockingly). And what gifts can you bring? What do you have? Just prickly needles and nasty sticky resin.

The tree lowers its head low and moves away.

Presenter. The poor tree remained silent and humbly stepped back, not daring to enter the cave. And the palm tree and olive tree, bowing low, approached the Child.

Music is playing.

Palm(takes off the sheet and puts it to the den).

If driven by anger from cruel enemies

In the vast plain of quicksand

You, Lord, will seek shelter,

To wander like a bottomless wanderer in the desert,

I will open a green tent for you,

I'll spread out a flower carpet for you,

Come and rest in the peaceful shade:

There is a pleasant twilight, there is fresh shade.

Olive(releases fragrant oil from its branches).

If, Lord, you will be evil people

Left without food - accept my gift,

I will cordially extend the branches to you

And I’ll shake the golden fruit onto the ground.

Christmas tree(to the audience). They are right, I am too poor, insignificant and unworthy to appear to the beautiful Child (cries).

Leading: Tears are falling profusely

From shame and secret torment,

While everything is rejoicing,

smiling around.

But one of the angels saw and heard everything. He felt sorry for the poor tree. He wanted to help her.

Angel. Dear Christmas tree, you rejoiced and did not become proud, and with your radiance you try to illuminate your shamed sisters, the palm tree and the olive tree. You pay for their evil with good.

You are a good tree, dear Christmas tree, and for this you will be rewarded (the angel begins to hang shiny stars on the tree). From now on, when people celebrate Christmas, you will not be forgotten. Every year you will show off in the radiance of many lights, and small children, looking at you, will rejoice and have fun.

Adults will also rejoice, remembering the golden days of childhood when they see you.

2nd reader. Suddenly they started raining down - oh, miracle!

Stars raining fire,

They covered the dark Christmas tree,

They dotted everything around.

And she trembled

Raised the branches proudly,

Appeared to the world for the first time

Dazzling, bright.

Angel: Let's go, modest Christmas tree, you will always be a symbol of a merry Christmas holiday.

Leading. There are many wonderful legends associated with the Nativity of Christ. How do people of all latitudes celebrate Christmas and New Year?

Part 2. “New Year on the Planet.” Presentation

1st presenter. With the arrival of white Januarys

We are all becoming wiser -

New Year's signs

we take from all over the planet;

What to eat, what to drink, what to wear according to fashion...

Gray-haired times of New Year's Eve

In Italian there is rubbish in the windows

We throw it away - with grief in half,

rearranging furniture in the house

And we calculate endlessly

Some are mice, some are tigers, and some are sheep.

All human nature

Looking forward to Christmas.

From Santa Clauses of different colors

We are waiting for gifts and a lot of happiness,

And we believe that heaven

Miracles are in store for us all...

Leaves. Italian music is playing.

Leading 1: In Italy, the new year begins on January 6th. All Italian children are looking forward to the good fairy Befana. She flies in at night on a broom, opens the doors with a small key and, entering the room where the children sleep, fills the children's stockings with gifts.

Leading 2: On New Year's Eve, Italians throw out old clothes and even furniture from their apartment windows at the very last minute of the old year. Following them, firecrackers, confetti, and sparklers fly. It is generally accepted that if you throw away an old item on New Year's Eve, you will buy a new one in the coming year.

Leading 1: And not only Befana, but also the Italian Santa Claus gives gifts to little Italians. His name is Babbo Natale. He even has his own real mailing address to which you can send a letter.

1st presenter. Christmas for the British is a desired and favorite holiday. A few days before the first of January, musicians and singers take to the streets performing folk songs.

On New Year's Day, theaters stage performances based on English fairy tales for children. Lord Disorder leads a merry procession in which fairy-tale characters take part. In England, the custom arose of exchanging greeting cards at Christmas. The first New Year's card was printed in London in 1843.

English children traditionally play hide and seek on New Year's Eve.

2nd presenter. The New Year in Mongolia is called the “White Moon Holiday” and coincides with the herders' holiday. Competitions in strength, dexterity, and courage are held throughout the country. An indispensable treat on this day is boiled lamb and dairy products.

And immediately African music sounds.

Leading. In South Africa, New Year and Harvest Day are celebrated simultaneously. The entire population of the tribe gathers in the clearing. In the middle of the dance, the tribal leader throws a ripe pumpkin onto the ground. It breaks into pieces, which means the New Year has begun.

Leading 1: In Brazil, the New Year is celebrated with a cannon shot. Hearing the sound of a cannon, the Brazilians begin to hug, as they say, regardless of their faces. Many people believe that if at this moment you manage to kiss a person dear to you, then the whole year will be happy.

Leading 2: New Year's Eve in India is celebrated not at midnight, but at sunrise. On this day it is forbidden to quarrel or get angry. In some parts of India, on New Year's Day, young people pour water on each other, accompanied by congratulations and New Year wishes.

Leading 1: There must also be a pig on the Hungarian New Year's table - any kind (fried, chocolate). But under no circumstances are dishes made from chickens, ducks, or geese served. An old legend says that happiness can fly away on bird wings in the New Year.

Leading 2: In Germany, a mandatory item on the New Year's table is either a pig, or a pig's head, or a pig made from dough.

Leading 1: French Father Christmas Père Noël comes at night, leaving gifts in children's shoes. A must-have dish on the French holiday table is a large pie. The one who gets the bean baked in it receives the title of “bean king”, and on New Year’s Eve everyone obeys his funny orders.

Part 3. “Christmas in Russia.”

A Russian folk melody sounds. The mummers come into the hall singing.

Kolyada arrived on the eve of Christmas.

Hostess, dear mother, don’t be lazy, get up.

Bring me some pie. The way you serve the pie is a whole yard of your belly.

If you don't serve a pie, you'll have one chicken leg.

The hostess in the house is like a pancake in honey.

One by one they begin to speak to the hostess who appeared on the stage.

1. What will you give us, hostess?

2. A bag of money or a pot of porridge?

3. A jug of milk or a piece of pie?

4. Pennies or candy?

5. Or ten kopecks for gingerbread?

In chorus. Open the chest, give me a penny!

Even a pancake, even a lard wedge,

Even cookies, even jam

We're in for a treat!

Master (addresses the hostess). It’s not like the mummers came to us. According to the old custom, do not let them into the house until they guess our riddles.

Mummers sing.

Kolyada, Kolyada, on the eve of Christmas,

Good auntie, I wish I had a nice little pie.

Don't cut, don't break, serve quickly.

Two, three, we've been standing for a long time.

The stove is heating up, I want a pie.

Merry Christmas to you!

Mistress. Merry Christmas to you too! Guess our riddles, then you will receive gifts from us. ( The owner and hostess ask riddles.)

1. Broken during the day - inserted at night. (Ice hole.)

2. Downhill is a horse, and uphill is a piece of wood. (Sled.)

3. He stood outside the window during the day,

And at night he quietly entered the house.

Covered the window with patterns

But the sun rose - everything was glass. (Freezing.)

1st Mummer. But we, mistress, did not come to you alone. We brought a goat with us.

Master. Goat? Why do we need your goat?

2nd Mummer. So our goat is not an easy one. There is an ancient belief that she is a symbol of the vitality of the Earth and the harvest.

3rd Mummer. Where the goat passes, there the wheat sprouts.

Where a goat waves its tail, rye will sprout as a bush.

Where the goat steps, there will be a heap of grain.

And where it touches with a horn, it will fly up like a haystack.

4th Mummer. Let's call our goat: Goat, goat, come here. (Everyone calls the goat. A girl dressed as a goat enters:

A goat is coming to visit you, a dereza goat is coming to visit you,

A horned goat is coming, a butted goat is coming.

Suddenly the goat stumbles and falls:

Oh oh oh! Help! Give!

Master. And what happened?

Mistress. Maybe you can help her up?

5th Mummer. No, she will only rise up when you give her something or treat her to greatness.

Mistress. What does she like?

6th Mummer. Our goat needs a little: a bucket of buckwheat from the stove and a pot of oats for the end of its tail.

7th Mummer. A sieve of oats, sausage on top of it, and three pieces of lard to make the goat stand up! ( The owners give gifts to the goat, it gets up and, dancing merrily, leaves. The mummers begin to carol.)

Boys. How the carol went for a walk along the street,

Walk along the street and wish Happy New Year.

Kolyada, Kolyada, where have you been before?

Girls. I spent the night in the field, and now I’ve come to you.

1. I'm a little boy, I play the pipe,

I play the pipe and amuse you all.

And you people, know, give me a pretty penny.

2. Kolyad-Kolyadin, I’m alone with my father,

A short skin, give me a pie, mistress.

3. Here comes the carol before Christmas,

And what did you, carol, bring to the owners?

4. To good owners - a cow and a calf,

A horse with a foal, a pig with a piglet.

In chorus. Live for you, buckwheat, a hundred measures of peas.

Be born, rye-wheat, for happiness and health.

Mistress. Here's a penny and a gingerbread for each of you.

2nd Mummer. And now, guys, let's go down the hill.

Cheerful music sounds again, and the children dance off the stage.

And we are robbers, robbers... The robbers are sitting in the forest and waiting for their next victim. It happens on Christmas Eve. So in their conversation the thieves mention the birth of Jesus. Suddenly a lone traveler appears, whom they try to rob. He found nothing valuable except a piece of paper with a song. When the stranger sings his song to the robbers, they think about their lives.

God is closer than you think One man did not believe in God. The Lord appeared to him in the form of a passerby when he was hit by a car. The man heard two voices. Someone was talking about him. He is given one last chance - he needs to find a person who will agree to die for him. Thanks to his believing wife, the main character learns that Jesus died for him. It happens around Christmas.

God's Messenger for Christmas One person tells a boy from a poor family about the Savior at Christmas. The boy tells his mother that the Lord has come to people. Mom doesn’t believe that God cares about them, because on their table there is only black bread and water. But then God’s messenger comes - a rich gentleman with gifts.

The Savior came into the world This performance tells the events of Christmas in an accessible form for children. The shepherds, the wise men, Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus are shown.

At Christmas everyone is a little wise man The Magi see a new star in the sky and rush to bow to the king. In the following scenes they meet with Herod and the shepherds. The performance is structured in such a way that children take part in it from time to time: they recite poems, sing songs and receive gifts.

What is Christmas all about? The TV show host asks his guests what Christmas is all about. Everyone has their own opinion.

Great Commission The main character of this scene is Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. At first, viewers see her as a little girl, dreaming that God would perform His miracles through her. Then on the stage is Mary the Bride, to whom an angel appears and announces the great commission of God. But it turns out that it is not so easy to implement.

Bethlehem (Christmas scene for children) Children (snowflake girls) participate in this small scene. The angel tells the snowflakes how he announced the good news of the birth of the Savior to the shepherds, and how the wise men went to worship Jesus.

It is the Star of Bethlehem that tells the children the events of Christmas: about the wise men, the shepherds and Herod. At the end she leads everyone to Bethlehem. As the scenario progresses, children are asked biblical riddles.

Bethlehem night In the center of events is a small hotel in the city of Bethlehem, its owners and inhabitants. As a result of the census declared by Caesar, there were no vacancies left in the hotel. And one married couple is allowed to spend the night in the stable...

Christmas influence At the beginning of the scene, a modern family is shown. Mom, dad and their children are preparing for Christmas - buying gifts. At the same time, they swear and quarrel all the time. The girl turns to God asking for help, she wants to find out what Christmas really means. An angel appears to her and her brother, and then there are scenes of the Nativity.

Artaban fell behind his comrades and continued on his own. On the way, he squandered all his treasures, which he was going to give to the Child, helping some people. He saw Jesus only on the cross. The Lord consoled him: “Everything you did for these people, you did for Me.”

The Little Match Girl (Christmas performance) This performance is based on the fairy tale of the same name by H.H. Andersen. A little girl tries to sell matches to passers-by. The girl is hungry and very cold. But people are like blank walls - no one pays attention to the poor girl. Other children, from rich families, leave the toy store with their parents - something our girl can only dream about. Giving up hope of selling matches, the chilled girl sits on the ground in some nook and starts lighting matches to warm up. At the same time, she sees what she is deprived of, what she dreams of: delicious food, a sleigh drawn by three horses, her beloved home and her grandmother, who has already died. The girl burns the remaining matches, trying to prolong the moments of vision of happiness... And so, the grandmother appears, gently takes the girl and goes with her to celebrate Christmas in heaven...

Merry Christmas indeed One woman could not understand the meaning of Jesus' birth. One Christmas day she saw a parrot freezing and tried to catch it to take it into the house. But the bird didn't give in. “If I could turn into a little bird, I would tell him how good and warm it is in my house,” our heroine thinks. - I understood! This is probably why Jesus became the same as us, to show us the way to heaven, to the Heavenly Father. And I understood! Jesus was born for me!

- Once upon a time, long ago, in time immemorial, there lived a little princess named Goldilocks. One Christmas, while decorating a tree with her mother, she asked:
Goldilocks:
- Is it possible to take the Christmas star that shines outside the window and put it on top?
Queen:
- My dear, the star shines for all people in the world.
He takes off his heart pendant:
- I want to give you this pendant as a reminder. Wear it and never forget that the star will always shine for you if you give it your heart.
The count appears and takes the princess aside:
- Dear child! Your mother didn't tell you that there is a way to take the Christmas star for yourself.
Goldilocks:
- Is it true?! Tell me please!
Graph:
- You can take the Christmas star for yourself if you go alone at night into the dark forest and give it your golden heart that the queen gave you.
Author:
- Goldilocks had no idea that the count, the royal nephew, himself dreamed of taking the throne. He had already turned to the evil witch for help, but his plan was interfered with by the royal family.
At night, Goldilocks ran into the dark forest to find the Christmas star. The evil witch was already waiting for her in the thicket. She cast a spell and Goldilocks disappeared.
The king was very sad. He searched the whole kingdom, but never found his beloved daughter. The queen's heart could not stand it and she died of grief. In despair, the king cursed the Christmas star, blaming it for all the troubles. At that same moment, the star disappeared, and cold darkness fell over the kingdom. But the ancient sage predicted to the king that if he managed to find the Christmas star in ten years, Princess Goldilocks would return to the king.
Ten years were coming to an end. It was Christmas Eve and the king had one last chance to find the star and bring his beloved daughter home.

Scene 2. House in the forest.
The girl cleans the dishes. A ray of sun shines through the window. Beautiful music sounds. The girl smiles and goes to the window. He admires the sunlight for a while. The door opens and a woman enters the house:
- Sonya! To whom I said: wash the floor!
Sonya sighs, goes for a bucket, and begins to wash the floor. Woman:
- Sonya! Where are the silver spoons?
Sonya:
- In the same place as the silver you stole yesterday.
The woman goes to the table, takes a spoon, examines it:
- What, you didn’t even clean them?
Sonya:
- No.
Woman:
- Spoons must shine, otherwise they won’t buy them! Shine like diamonds! You understood me?
Sonya gets up from her knees. Woman:
- Where are you going?!
Sonya:
- Clean silver.
Woman:
- Where - where, huh?
He runs up to Sonya and points his finger at the floor:
- Back, back! On your knees, come on! Lazy girl! How unlucky you are! Do you want to sneak out without cleaning the floor? Don't play with me, I quickly retrain lazy people! Until you start working off your food, I won’t let you out anywhere. Clear?
Sonya is scrubbing the floor. Sad music is playing. The woman turns away from her. The door creaks and a glare of light appears on the floor. Sonya raises her head, then looks back at the woman. Slowly, pretending to wash the floor, he moves towards the door, then suddenly jumps up and runs away.
Woman:
- Where?! Scoundrel! Scoundrel! Sonya! I fed you! Come back immediately! Stop, nasty girl!
He comes out next.

Scene 3. The Royal Castle.
The Count comes out. A woman goes with him. Three blows and a voice are heard:
- His Majesty! King!
The king appears. Those present on stage bow. Sonya appears, sees the courtiers, hides (peeps). The count approaches the king and bows:
- My regards. (Makes a gesture towards the woman) Severina Augusta Galaxicus, come!
Severina comes out and approaches the covered ball. King:
- The Count says you are the best at reading the stars.
Severina:
- Throughout the universe, Your Majesty.
King:
- Will you find the Christmas star?
Severina:
- Everything is possible. Need time.
King:
- Listen, time is running out. You are my last hope. I ask you as a king. I ask you like a desperate father. I pray: help me. Help me get my daughter back. My Goldilocks.
Severina:
- I said that it will take time, but I’m not saying that it takes a lot.
Graph:
- So let's not waste time. Severina, do you know where the star is now?
Severina approaches the covered ball:
- Yes.
He pulls off the cape. Below it is a ball that begins to glow. Severina peers into the ball:
- She is in Oculeos, Your Majesty.
King:
- Where?
Severina:
- In the constellation Little Horse. A foal, if you will. Heading here to South Hydra.
Points a finger at the ceiling, leads with his hand. The king, with his mouth open, looks in the direction where her finger is pointing.
Severina:
- ... and further through the constellation Fly, to Southern Pisces, and then in a semicircle to Bootes. This is my guess. Look, for a moment she was in Ursa Major. Nooo, I’m wrong: she stopped at the Little Lion, as I expected, the Christmas star moved to the Coma of Veronica...
King:
- Hair? That is…
Severina:
- She can be found on Coma, Your Majesty.
King (astonished):
- On Coma?! Where is it?
Severina:
- Here. Between Ursa Major and M 64.
King:
- So, when will you return her?
Severina:
- What?!
King:
- We need her here, not Koma.
Severina:
- Yes, Your Majesty.
At this moment, Sonya, who was leaning further and further out of her hiding place, falls.
Graph:
- What is there? (grabs Sonya) Ahhh! So this is one of those vile thieves who trade in robbery!
Sonya:
- Not true! I'm not one of them!
Graph:
- And now you are lying to the king.
Sonya:
- I am telling the truth! They were chasing me, I wanted to hide.
King:
- Count, let her go. What is your name?
Sonya:
- Sonya, Your Majesty.
Graph:
- Your Majesty!
King:
- Enough. You have things to do. The star must be here before the Christmas bells ring. Clear?
Graph:
- Yes, Your Majesty. Will be done.
He turns to Severine, both bow and leave.
The King, addressing Sonya:
- Why were they chasing you?
Sonya:
“They kept me locked up because I didn’t want to steal.” So I ran away.
King:
-Who kept you locked up? Your family?
Sonya is silent, lowers her head:
- No. I don't have a family.
King:
- No? What about friends?
Sonya shakes her head negatively.
King:
- Well, you won’t return to the thieves, and they won’t touch you again. Where do you want to go?
Sonya:
- I want to find the Christmas star.
The king smiles sadly:
- I've been looking for her for nine years, Sonya. I tried everything.
Sonya:
-Have you tried to give her your heart?
King:
- My heart?
Sonya:
- They told me that a star needs to give his heart.
King:
“She hardly needs my heart.” It became ugly and black, because I cursed the star.
He looks at Sonya with regret. Sonya:
- But maybe she'll take mine?
The king looks at her in surprise and nods:
- May be.
Sonya:
- Then I'll give it to her.
The king smiles:
- Yeah, if you found the Christmas star, I would give her mine too. Well, let's hope Severina keeps her promise. - Winks playfully at Sonya: - Do you want to eat?
Sonya nods. The king is calling:
- Katherine. Katherine. Katherine.
A girl enters (Katherine):
- Yes?
The King, pointing to Sonya:
- Make sure our guest enjoys herself properly. Good luck, Sonya.
Katherine smiles and approaches Sonya:
- Come with me. What do you love most?
They leave.
The Count enters. King:
- Can Severina be trusted?
Graph:
- Of course, Your Majesty! She will return the star on time, as promised.
King:
- Let's hope.

Graph:
“I will make sure she does her best, Your Majesty.”
Bows. The king leaves. The Count straightens up and looks after him:
- I’ll see to it...
Severina appears. The count, continuing to look in the direction where the king had gone, takes out a wallet from his bosom. Without looking, he hands it to Severina:
- Here you are. Easy Money.
Severina, taking the wallet:
- He's so trusting.
The Count, escorting her to the exit:
- When you leave, be careful and look around. The king thinks you're already halfway to the moon.
Severina leaves. The Count feels someone's presence behind him, turns around and sees the witch. Grabs the heart:
- Stop doing that!
Witch:
- Need to talk.
The Count sighs:
- I assure you: this year everything is going according to the old plan, just like last year... and the year before...
Witch:
- We have problems.
Graph:
- Pleasant or unpleasant?
The witch leisurely approaches him closer:
-Have you ever had any pleasant problems?
Count irritably:
- No.
Moves away from the witch. The witch in his back:
- They told me about a girl who went into the forest to look for the Christmas star.
The Count laughs. Witch:
- What's so funny?
Graph:
- Sonya. Yes, I know her. You don't have to worry, she's an ordinary child.
Witch:
- If she looks for a star, she might find it. If the Christmas star returns, our nine years of work will be in vain, and you will not become king.
Graph:
- I understand, but you have nothing to fear. Absolutely nothing.
Witch:
- To me? Naturally, there is nothing, but you have something. - He sharply snatches his magic wand and points it at the count. - Three more seconds, and I myself will knock common sense into you!
The Count recoils and smiles servilely:
- My dear witch, of course, you are right, as always: you can’t take risks. What do we do?
The witch lowers her wand and comes closer to him:
- She needs to be stopped.
Graph:
- To whom? To me?
Witch:
- You.
The Count nods, bows, and leaves. The witch bows her head to his bow. Disappears.

Scene 4 Witch's house.
The witch's daughter talks to the raven.
- People will come from all over the world to look at my beauty! Do not believe?! Oh you disgusting scary raven! You need to pluck all your feathers!
Approaches the raven. The witch appears. Daughter:
- Mom, hello!
Witch:
- You never listen to me!
Daughter:
- Which is better for me: to remove my hair or let it down?
Witch:
- Ravens cannot be released from their cage without permission! They are not toys.
Daughter:
- They don't like being locked up! They're going crazy! They can only think about freedom.
Witch:
- I'll let you all go soon.
Daughter:
- I want now! I can't sit here!
Witch:
- Everything has its time. - Places a large book in front of her daughter. - For now, sit and read!
Daughter:
- And where are you going?
Witch:
- Job.
Daughter:
- I want to be with you.
Witch:
- No.
Daughter:
- Yes.
Witch:
- No.
Daughter:
- Yes.
The witch shouts, pointing her wand at her daughter:
- No!
Leaning over his daughter:
- Do you want to show off? You are going against our ancient traditions. You should hide your powers, and not show them to the first person you meet. Learn to control your power, or it will control you.

Scene 5 Winter forest.
Sonya walks through the forest. Suddenly she hears some sounds, notices a cage, and in the cage there is a gnome. Fits it:
- Can't get out?
Dwarf:
- And who are you?
Sonya:
- I am Sonya, and you?
Dwarf:
- Moss.
Sonya:
- Hello, Moss.

Moss:
“I wanted to pick a bunch of rowan berries, but just take the door and slam shut.” You're not from these places, are you?
Sonya:
- No. I'm looking for the Christmas star.
Moss makes surprised eyes:
- Is it true?
Sonya:
- Yes. Don't know where she is?
Moss shakes his head negatively. The count's voice is heard:
- Sonya! Sonya!
Moss:
- Someone is coming, quickly unlock it!
Sonya unlocks the door, the gnome blows powder on her, Sonya shrinks. The Count comes out:
- Sonya, I know you are here! Sonya! I hear you!
Walks around the stage, looking for Sonya:
- I don’t understand anything. I was here.
Leaves. Sonya and Moss appear. Sonya:
- How did you make me small?
Moss:
- It's all gnome powder.
Sonya:
- How can I become big again?
At this moment, Moha's mother appears. Mother:
- What is this here? Is this mortal? - He goes around her. - Wow! And such a baby too! - Turns to Mokh, puts his hands on his hips. - Are you playing around with pollen again?! Well, speak up! Swallowed your tongue?
Moss:
- This is Sonya. I was stuck and she helped me.
Mother:
- Did you fall into a trap again?
Moss:
- In the birdhouse. With berries.
He wipes his nose with his sleeve.
Mother:
- What did I tell you about traps? Sonya, thank you for helping Mokh. I am very thankful. All the best to you for this. All the best.
Sonya:
- I was glad to help.
Mother:
- And what is such a girl doing in the forest on the eve of the solstice?
Moss:
- Looking for the Christmas star.
Mother:
- Only Santa Claus knows where to find the Christmas star.
Sonya:
- And where he?
Mother:
- He? Well... To get to it, you will have to go to the North Pole, and the path there is long and very dangerous for such a small mortal.
Sonya:
- I have to find a star.
Mother:
- I'm afraid this is simply impossible. Although... I think that Snowstorm will help you, but first, Moss, make it big again. Good luck to you, Sonya.
Moss:
“I’ll help you find Snowstorm, but you’ll owe me: when you return, put a bowl of Christmas porridge on the doorstep.”
Sonya:
- Porridge?
Moss:
- Yes. I have never tried it: people have already forgotten about us - gnomes.
Sonya:
- I won't forget you, I promise.
Moss indicates the direction:
- Metelitsa lives there. With it you will reach the North Pole in no time.
Sonya:
“Won’t she be angry with me for disturbing her?”
Moss:
- The main thing is to smile and say hi from me. She may grumble a little. She is usually very busy these few months. Blueberry pie is her favorite.
Sonya:
“Are we doing the right thing by distracting her?”
Moss:
- Right. No, it’s wrong, of course, but this is the only way you can get to the Christmas star.
Sonya:
- So there is no choice?
He is going to go in the direction indicated by Mokh. Moss:
- Sonya. You can’t go to Metelitsa so small.
Blows on her. Sonya “grows up.” Moss:
- Goodbye, Sonya!
Sonya:
- See you later, Moss.
Sonya leaves.
A graph appears:
- Sonya! Late again! It's okay, I'll catch up with you. Just don't rush...
He leaves after Sonya.

Scene 6 Blizzard.
Snowflakes are dancing. Sonya enters, snowflakes scatter. Metelitsa:
-Who dared to disturb me at this time of year?
Sonya:
- Please help me! I need to get to Santa Claus.
Metelitsa:
- Why do you need him?
Sonya:
- Only he knows where to look for the Christmas star.
Metelitsa:
- And why should I help you?
Sonya:
- I have greetings for you from Moch and this.
He takes out the pie and gives it to Metelitsa. She takes it and looks at it:
- So, so, greetings from Moch, then? Okay, I'll help you. - Screams. - Hey, girls!
Snowflakes fly and circle around them. Metelitsa:
- Take her to the North Pole.
Snowflakes “pick up” Sonya and spin her around the stage. A graph appears:
- Well, get down! Get off, I'm telling you!
The snowflakes “drop” it with laughter and carry Sonya away.
The Count shouts:
- Stop! Stop immediately! Stand!
The blizzard shouts after the snowflakes:
- Don’t forget why you’re flying! How would they not lose the girl along the way...
The Count runs up to Metelitsa:
- Are these your servants? Where did they take her? Come on, give them back! Alive!
Metelitsa:
- Even soooo?
Graph:
- Do you know who you are talking to? I…
Snowstorm interrupts him:
- I know. I just don’t know who you think you are: fearless or immortal?
He blows into his palm, the count is “picked up” by the whirlwind and carried away.
Metelitsa:
- Well, people went! No respect for fairy tale characters. And what are they taught only in childhood?
He shrugs and leaves.

Scene 7 Father Frost.
Santa Claus sits with his back to the audience. Snowflakes “bring” Sonya:
- This is where he lives.
Sonya waves her hand after them:
- Thank you.
Snowflakes:
- Good luck, Sonya.
They fly away.
A woman comes onto the stage with a list in her hands. Shouts to someone offstage:
- Gifts for Sarah need to be reconsidered: she was arguing with her brother again!
Sonya notes:
- What is it? Girl? Here? At a time like this? What do you want?
Sonya:
- I'm looking for Santa Claus.
Woman:
- Father Frost? Do you think you can just come and talk to him like that?
Sonya:
- Do you need to make an appointment?
Woman:
- No, but Santa Claus is very busy now.
Sonya:
- Does he not accept visitors?
Woman:
- I did not say that. Of all the days of the year, you chose the busiest one to talk to him. Today is Christmas Eve! But you still came and interfered with our work. How did you end up here?
Sonya:
- The snowstorm helped me get here.
The woman immediately changes her intonation:
- What? Blizzard?
Sonya nods:
- I'm looking for the Christmas star.
Woman:
- Well, let's go.
He takes her to Santa Claus and gives him the list. Father Frost:
- Another list?
Woman:
- Doubters again.
Father Frost:
- They are always late.
A woman hangs a list on the wall:
- You have a guest.
Santa Claus turns around, looks at Sonya, then at the woman. Woman:
- She is looking for the Christmas star.
Sonya:
- The forest gnome said maybe you know where she is.
Father Frost:
- Your name is Sonya, isn’t it? - Sonya nods. - Do you like gifts?
Sonya takes out a pendant from under her clothes:
- My mother gave this to me when I was little.
Santa Claus gets up and comes closer:
- Very beautiful.
Sonya:
- The most beautiful thing I have. How do you know that a person behaved well?
Father Frost:
- Let me show you. Wait.
He puts on his fur coat and takes Sonya out into the spruce garden:
- You see, Sonya, here every person has their own spruce. When Christmas comes, I inspect every tree: good people's trees are green and healthy, but if you behaved badly, the branches begin to dry out. Like this.
Shows her the spruce tree that has begun to dry out:
- This is the king's spruce. When he cursed the Christmas star, its branches withered.
Sonya:
- Will his tree die?
Father Frost:
- Nooo, but he must repent.
Sonya points him to another tree:
- Look! This is almost completely dry.
Father Frost:
“This tree belongs to a man who has been lying to the king for many years.” Count.
Sonya points to another tree:
- But this is beautiful!
Father Frost:
- Yes, because this is a tree of a very good and kind person. It's yours, Sonya.
Sonya:
- My tree? - Santa Claus nods. - Is it true?
Father Frost:
-Have you already made a wish? - Sonya shakes her head negatively. - Then, it's time.
Sonya:
-Can I switch trees with the king so he can make a wish for Goldilocks?
Father Frost:
- It seems to me that you need to wish something for yourself.
Sonya:
- I would like to find a star so that Goldilocks will return.
Father Frost:
- I'm sure you'll find her. She remained where she was: outside the window of the royal castle.
Sonya:
- No. She is not there.

Father Frost:
- She is there, but the king does not see her. When the king lost the most important thing in his life, he could no longer believe in the star. And those who do not believe cannot see it.
Sonya:
- What do you mean?
Father Frost:
- You must believe, Sonya. Believe with all your heart. But first you need to wish, to return to where the king cursed the Christmas star.
Sonya nods, takes out her medallion, concentrates, Santa Claus slowly moves away from her. Sonya holds the medallion in her hand and closes her eyes. The light flashes, Sonya disappears.
Voice of Santa Claus:
- Merry Christmas!

Scene 8. The Royal Castle.
A witch stands on the stage with her daughter at her shoulder. The disheveled count barges in. He barely hobbles and falls out of the blue:
- Damn it.
Witch:
- I take it you didn’t catch up with her?
Graph:
- It's all you! It's your fault!
Witch:
- You are not capable of anything!
Graph:
- I wonder what you will be capable of when you meet Metelitsa?
Witch:
-Did you manage to anger Metelitsa?
Her daughter starts laughing.
Witch:
- You can't do anything right! Amateur! Come here! Look. - Shows him something in the crystal ball. - Look at this medallion!
The Count looks into the ball:
- The same medallion Goldilocks wore the night she disappeared.
The witch condescendingly:
- Yes. Let them burn me at the stake if it's not the princess!
Graph:
- She's dead!
Witch:
- No. The medallion saved her.
Graph:
- And after that you dare to call me an amateur?
The witch's daughter looks into the ball:
- Is this the princess? Well, the clothes she's wearing are ugly.
The witch gazes at her daughter. Daughter:
- What?
The witch, addressing the count:
- We will marry her off as a princess.
Graph:
- And the king will have to believe that she is Princess Goldilocks?
Witch:
- Just a minute.
He points his wand at his daughter, casts a spell, and she grows green hair.
Daughter:
- Mother!
Graph:
- Princess Zelenovlaska... - Walks around her. - And the color is okay - it goes with the Christmas tree.
The witch again points her wand at her daughter, casts a spell, and she becomes blonde.
The witch, addressing the count:
“We just need him to believe and sign before the clock strikes.”
Graph:
- Where did you sign?
The witch takes out a folded parchment:
- Here.
Graph:
- And what is it? His renunciation?
Witch:
- Yes. And a decree that he is transferring the throne to the two of us and that my daughter will be the next queen.
Daughter:
- I'm so beautiful!
Graph:
- He will never agree.
Witch:
- Of course, he won’t agree unless we convince him that he’s peeing on something else.
Graph:
- How will we do this? He is trusting, but not blind.
Witch:
- Like this.
He points his magic wand at the parchment, then unfolds it and shows it to the count.
Graph:
- Ooo!
Three beats and a voice:
- His Majesty! King!
The king enters:
- What's going on here?
The witch quickly hides the parchment. Graph:
- My dear friend! For so many years people said it was impossible, but I worked day and night and achieved my goal. Let me introduce you, your daughter is Princess Goldilocks! Alive and healthy!
The witch's daughter fails. Daughter:
- Dad?
King:
- Goldilocks? - Looks at the count, again at his daughter. Visibly worried. - Goldilocks. You're so…
Daughter:
- Am I not beautiful enough?
King:
- Of course not! You are so sweet and beautiful.
Daughter:
- You are sure?
The king is puzzled:
- Yes.
Daughter:
- Why are you looking like that?
King:
- You've grown up.
Daughter:
- You left me in the forest for many years!

King:
- Darling, you can’t even imagine how sorry I am. We tried everything possible. And here you are...
Comes closer:
- Do you remember how your mother gave you a medallion?
Daughter whiningly:
- I do not remember anything. I was so small.
King:
- Oh, my dear.
Hugs her. All the characters from the fairy tale appear on stage. King:
“After so many dark years, my light has returned to our castle. All this thanks to one person. To my dear friend - the Count.
Everyone applauds.
Graph:
- With your permission, I would like to introduce the woman who helped me. I couldn't have done anything without her.
King:
- Tell me, how can I express my gratitude?
Graph:
- One gratitude is enough for me, but there is one more little thing. Perhaps, Your Majesty, you will sign one document? Thus, you undertake to never curse the Christmas star again.
King:
- Yes. With pleasure. Bring a pen.
The witch hands him a feather. The king begins to write. At this moment Sonya appears.
King:
- Sonya?
Graph:
- Signature, Your Majesty.
King:
- We'll still have time.
Addresses Sonya:
- I'm glad to see you. Look who came back to me. - Points his hand at the imaginary Goldilocks.
Sonya:
- Who is this?
King:
- Goldilocks. She's back.
Sonya:
- If she is Goldilocks, there should be a Christmas star shining in the sky.
Everyone is looking out the window. King:
- No, it doesn’t shine.
Graph:
- Your Majesty, the stars, like the Moon, sometimes shine, sometimes they don’t, and the night is cloudy today.
The witch's daughter rips off Sonya's medallion while everyone turns away:
- Throw her into the dungeon! Now!
King:
- What are you doing?
The witch's daughter shows him the medallion:
- She wanted to steal my medallion. She's a thief!
King:
-Did you really want to steal it?
Sonya:
- No. And even if so, it would not be theft.

King:
- Like this?
Sonya:
- This is my medallion. My mother gave it to me as a child. - The Count and the Witch look at each other in horror. - And I found a star.
Graph:
- Your Majesty, this homeless girl is lying. The Christmas star simply did not have time to shine.
The King addressing Sonya:
- And where is she?
Sonya points to the medallion:
- In my heart.
She holds out her hand and the king wants to give her the medallion. Witch:
- No!
Graph:
- Your Majesty!
Witch's daughter:
- It's mine!
The king gives the medallion to Sonya. She takes the medallion in her hand and everything around her begins to shine. Voices are heard:
- Just look!
- I’ve never seen anything like this!
- Christmas star!
The king looks out the window, then turns to Sonya:
- It's you! Were you so little that you don't remember me? But I recognize you. - Comes closer to her. - Goldilocks!
Sonya:
- Am I Goldilocks?
King:
- My Goldilocks.
Takes her hand (or picks her up). Everyone around is happy and clapping. King:
- This is a miracle! Goldilocks is back! My little princess.
Author's voice:
- Since then, peace and happiness have returned to the royal castle. And the Christmas star still continues to shine in the sky, warming human hearts with its light, filling them with joy and love.

At night, travelers walked along a dusty road: a young woman, Maria, and her elderly husband, Joseph. They traveled a long way under the twinkling stars until they came to the city of Bethlehem. They were very tired and wanted to rest, so they knocked on the door of the inn. (Knocking)

Master:

Who's knocking on my door? Don't you see - the hotel is full! With so many guests I'll soon go crazy! Go away good people! Look for somewhere else to stay for the night. There is no place for you here!

Joseph: We shouldn’t return to Nazareth. Maria is completely tired. Let us into the house quickly. Is there really no free bed left in it?

Master: Where should I place you? Well, perhaps to the cave with the cattle?

Maria: Let’s not argue Joseph, let’s spend the night there!

Leading: And that night a miracle happened - the Lord was born. Mary swaddled him and put him in a manger.

Herds roaming free

A family of shepherds was feeding

1 Shepherd: The night is dark, let us not lose our herds

2 Shepherd: Look, what a strong, bright light suddenly poured from the heavens!

Angel:

I was sent by God to bring

Good news for people!

Celebration on earth and in heaven

Christ our God Christmas!

1 Shepherd:

Let's go, shepherds

Marvel at the miracle

Marvel at the miracle

Worship God.

Angel:

I, Angel, will show you the way

I will show you the way to Christ God!

2 Shepherd:

Thank you for wanting to accompany us,

But just what should we give Him?

1 Shepherd:

We are simple people

Here's bread, cheese and honey...

Angel:

And let everyone take faith on the road!

2 Shepherd:

And I am fresh hay from fragrant grass

I'll put him in a manger

He is the best in the world!

Everything came true according to the Angel’s word!

We went into the barn and saw there:

Royal baby in straw

BRIGHT RESURRECTION OF CHRIST

Musical and literary composition for younger schoolchildren

Decoration: children can make a composition of artificial spring flowers, willows, butterflies - in the form of a wreath, circle, decorate with ribbons; hang reproductions of the Crucifixion icons. “Resurrection” of Dionysius or reproductions from paintings by artists on this topic; Place a candlestick with holiday candles intertwined with crimson serpentine on the table, and place colored eggs on a plate.

Against the background of the sound of festive bells (recording), the teacher or presenter addresses the children:

Dear Guys! The spring sun is playing brightly, nature is coming to life, the ringing of bells is heard throughout the city, Holy Easter Week is underway!.. In the ringing of bells and in the radiance of the sun you are, Holy Easter, the Bright Resurrection of Christ!

Easter is an international holiday for people who believe in God and Jesus Christ. But aren’t there enough of those who believe in justice, kindness, love, even though they don’t go to church? And, perhaps, there is no person, even among people far from the church, who would not be touched in one way or another, captured by its triumph and beauty by the holiday beloved by the people.

Easter is dear to all the good people of the world - a holiday of brotherhood, love, spring!

Easter is a spring holiday that promises us the coming summer, flowering meadows, grain fields, bird voices, splashing water, cheerful children playing under a clear sky.

Russian poets loved Easter with all their souls and dedicated many poems to this holiday. (The guys read poems by Russian poets.)

K. FOFANOV

To the tune of Easter prayers

And to the sound of bells

Spring is flying to us from far away

From the midday regions.

In green attire

The dark forests are gloomy,

The sky shines like the sea,

The sea is like heaven.

Pines in green velvet,

And fragrant resin

Along the scaly columns

It flowed like amber.

And in our garden today

I noticed how secretly

The lily of the valley made Christ

With a white-winged moth.

P. SOLOVIOVA

In the forest where the birches are

crowded together

Snowdrop looked

blue peephole.

Little by little at first

He put out the green leg.

Then he reached out from all his

small forces

And timidly asked:

I see the weather is calm and clear.

Tell me, is it true that this is spring?

Y. POLONSKY

God has risen and death has been defeated,

This victorious news came rushing

God-resurrected spring,

And all around the meadows turned green.

And the chest of the earth breathed warmth,

And listening to the nightingale’s trills,

Lilies of the valley and roses have bloomed!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the greatest event in gospel history.

The children read or retell pages of sacred stories related to these events. You can suggest the following text:

Poor people loved Jesus Christ for his love, mercy, attention to their needs and troubles, but others - the Pharisees, the rulers, the king of the Jews - hated him. Jesus Christ convicted them of greed, envy, and deceit. These evil people found a traitor who agreed to give Jesus Christ away for 30 pieces of silver. He turned out to be a disciple of Jesus Christ - Judas Iscariot.

On the eve of great suffering, on Thursday, Jesus Christ, along with twelve disciples, came to the city of Jerusalem. And there, on the Mount of Olives in the Garden of Gethsemane, Judas led the soldiers, where Jesus Christ prayed. Judas kissed his teacher, thereby betraying him - it was a conventional sign.

Early on Friday morning, Jesus Christ was brought before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate. After interrogation, Pilate ordered Jesus Christ to be brought out to the people, because he thought that the people whom Jesus Christ taught and healed would take pity on him. Pontius Pilate understood that Jesus Christ did not commit crimes, but the people, persuaded by the Jewish leaders, shouted: “Crucify him! Crucify him! Pontius Pilate, fearing the indignation of the people, gives the order to execute Jesus Christ.

The soldiers led Jesus Christ to Golgotha - the mountain of executions. Jesus Christ carried a huge cross. He was not allowed to rest; he was beaten with a whip and sticks. Crowds of people accompanied Jesus Christ. Having ascended the mountain, the soldiers tore off Christ’s clothes, nailed his hands and feet to the cross with large nails, and for mockery they put a crown of thorns on his head. On top of the crown they nailed a tablet with the inscription: “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.”

Jesus Christ endured terrible pain, but not a single word did He offend the tormentors who stabbed him with spears, smeared his lips with vinegar, spat on him, and desecrated his body...

On the contrary, he prayed for them and said:

God forgive them, they don’t know what they are doing.

At noon the sun darkened, and for three hours there was darkness over the whole earth. Jesus exclaimed with a loud voice, “It is finished!” - and died. Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the earth.

Seeing this, the commander of the soldiers who crucified Christ said: “Truly this man was the Son of God.”

During the reading of the execution scenes, the finale music from the rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” by E. Webber and T. Wright plays.

By the evening of that day, a man named Joseph took down the body of Jesus Christ, wrapped it in a clean linen shroud and buried it in a cave. The soldiers remained to guard the body of Jesus Christ, closing the entrance to the cave with a huge stone.

It's morning. Several holy women went to anoint the body of Jesus Christ with scented oil. They were surprised and frightened: the stone was thrown away and an angel in snow-white clothes sat on it. He told them: “Do not be afraid, I know that you are looking for the body of Jesus Christ. He is not here. Tell his disciples that he has risen. Go to the land of Galilee, and there you will see Jesus Christ.”

The women told the disciples of Jesus Christ about what had happened, who then saw Him and talked to him.

Teacher. Guys, terrible and amazing events happened to Jesus Christ during the celebration of the Jewish Passover, a holiday in honor of the salvation of the people of Israel from slavery to the Egyptian Pharaoh. Jesus Christ sacrificed his life, loving people endlessly, for the sake of people. Was it not possible for him, who tamed the storm, healed the sick, raised the dead, to escape the death penalty?

Having accepted slander, shame, suffering from people, that is, human vices, Jesus Christ, as it is written in the Gospel, died from terrible agony on the cross. But the highest justice defeated death - Jesus Christ came to life, that is, rose from the dead.

Can this Great Mystery be comprehended? Can you believe it? (Answers).

This is a very difficult question. And you will answer it, perhaps, all your life. Even the disciples of Jesus Christ could not immediately believe that He had risen; they did not recognize Him when He appeared to them, and they were afraid. And the enemies of Jesus Christ immediately began to say that Jesus Christ was not resurrected at all, and it was the disciples who stole his body. But again and again for 40 days, Jesus Christ appeared to the disciples, talked with them, and allowed them to touch him. He was not the same as before: he appeared in rooms where the doors were closed, appeared in different places in the country of Galilee, and after 40 days ascended to heaven.

Faith in Jesus Christ still lives in the minds of many people, two thousand years later.

The key is to understand the great mystery in the words of Jesus Christ:

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Teacher. Guys, the writer L. Zharikov wrote a book “The Fate of Ilyusha Barabanov” (shows the book). It contains the chapter “Easter Night”. The main character of the story, Ilyusha Barabanov, came to church for the first time with his family and watched the service in honor of the great holiday all night.

Lights candles and reads.

Easter was approaching. Preparations for the holiday were shrouded in mystery. Grandmother walked rosy-cheeked from the blazing Russian stove. The house smelled of vanilla. Aunt Lisa made roses and forget-me-nots from colored paper.

By Holy Saturday, the house had been transformed: linen curtains embroidered with red poppies hung on the doors, and tulle curtains blew out from the wind on the windows. The tables were covered with snow-white tablecloths taken from chests. Washed paths stretched from room to room; it was soft to walk on them. In an iron plate on the window, in the delicate greenery of sprouted oats, lay blue, brown, scarlet, and yellow Easter eggs. They looked like bright flowers in the grass.

In the evening, everyone - grandfather, grandmother, Aunt Lisa, Ilyusha - went to church. We had to spend the whole night in the church.

The presenter draws attention to the reproduction “The Crucifixion”.

There were few people in the church; twilight reigned everywhere. There was solemn silence all around. Grandfather fell behind to buy candles. They were beautiful - green, red, intertwined with gold ribbons. The candles smelled of honey. Giving the candles to his grandmother, he silently handed one of them to Ilyusha.

“Hold tight,” said the grandmother. - When they sing “Christ is Risen,” you’ll light it.

Next to Ilyusha, near the church wall, there was a large wooden cross. On it was drawn a man with a beard, like on Ilyusha’s cross. The outstretched arms were nailed to the cross, the high forehead was squeezed by a prickly aureole. Blood flowed from his bare feet, which were also nailed to the ground. People came up, crossed themselves and kissed the crucifix. Ilyusha realized that this was Jesus Christ, about whom his grandmother was talking.

The number of people in the church grew, it became crowded and stuffy. Everyone was dressed up.

Ilyusha liked the festive decoration of the temple, the sparkling of precious stones, the quiet flickering of candles. I wonder when Jesus Christ, crucified on the cross, will resurrect? Grandmother said that at 12 o'clock at night he would ascend to heaven.

Meanwhile, midnight was approaching.

Lord Jesus Christ...” the grandmother crossed herself and grabbed Ilyusha’s hand. -Hold on, lad, the religious procession will begin now.

The gilded doors opened and bearded priests came out. The people parted, and the priests solemnly walked towards the exit of the church, leading everyone behind them. The night was dark, and only flickering candles illuminated their faces.

Having walked around the church, the procession again began to climb the steps to the porch. The priests were the first to enter the temple, and Father Seraphim, raising the cross, loudly proclaimed: Christ is Risen!

Truly risen! - the parishioners echoed.

And the Easter song burst out, and the melodic voices of the choir sounded solemnly.

The “Easter Canon” and the recording “The Paschal Mystery of Christ” are played.

Entering the church, Ilyusha did not recognize it: everything sparkled and sparkled with lights. In the middle of the church, where recently stood the shroud - the Holy Sepulcher, now, as if by itself, an icon appeared with the resurrected Jesus, who, solemnly pink-cheeked, in a light blue and white robe, was flying across the sky. Her hair fell in soft waves over her shoulders. The face of Christ was bright, as if he had actually come to life and reigned in the sky, barely touching the clouds with his bare feet.

After church we walked along the dark streets, avoiding puddles. The stars twinkled high in the sky, and it seemed that candles held in the hands of angels were also burning there.

Teacher. Guys, I want candles to burn in your hands too. There are candles on the table, light them from large candles. (The guys light candles.) Imagine that on this Great holiday your wishes come true. Looking at the burning candles, you can make and say your innermost wishes.

Now stand in a circle that looks like the spring sun, let each of you say good wishes for everyone:

Love each other!

Be kind!

Be beautiful!

Be smart!

Be healthy!

PHENOMENON 1

The scene depicts the princely chambers. At a table laden with dishes and cups, Prince Vladimir and his warriors are feasting. The curtain rises to the cries of the feasters.

The warriors (raising their cups). Glory to Prince Vladimir, glory!

Book Vladimir. Glory to Perun, our God, glory! Drink, dear guests, drink to your health!

Vigilantes (randomly). Thank you, prince, for the treat! We drink to your victory! May your enemies perish!

Dobrynya. Yes, we beat the Pechenegs well, they will remember us for a long time.

Book Vladimir. It won’t be long before they decide to approach Kyiv again! Hey servants, bring some more wine!

Noise and screams are heard behind the stage. Someone shouts: “Let me go to the prince, to the prince!” Velimir runs in and bows to the prince.

Velimir. Hello, Prince Vladimir, father, we are in trouble!

Book Vladimir. What's happened? Speak!

Velimir. Prince-father, trouble happened to your beloved warrior, Fyodor. Do you remember him? He was always ahead in battle.

Book Vladimir. Well, of course, I know Fyodor the Varangian, a good, brave warrior. He also has a son, Vanyatka. A smart boy, just like his father...

Velimir. And because of this Vanya got into trouble...

Book Vladimir. What happened, tell me?

Velimir. It all began, prince, with your victory over the Pechenegs. When you returned from the campaign, the senior priest said: “We must thank Perun!”

All the vigilantes (randomly). That's right, that's right! How could it be otherwise! We need to thank Perun!

Velimir. Well, the priest cast lots as to whom to sacrifice to Perun, and the lot fell on Ivan, the son of Fyodor...

Book Vladimir. Well, it's a great honor.

Velimir. Well, yes, but Fyodor didn’t want to give up his son.

All. How not to give it away? You have to give it to Perun! Is it possible to? Other sons will be born...

Velimir. We tried to persuade him: “When your Vanyushka grows up, he will also become a warrior, and maybe he will also be killed. You wouldn’t keep it on the stove at home, would you?

Book Vladimir. Well, what about him?

Velimir. Doesn't listen to us! “I won’t give up my son to Perun,” he says. He is not God, but a wooden doll!”

Everything (randomly). What? How dare he? Perun is our God!

Velimir. Fyodor left with his son and locked himself in his house. And the priest got angry and ordered Fyodor’s house to be covered with straw and set on fire. So they both burned there.

Book Vladimir. What is he? Didn’t you give your son to Perun, but burned with him in the fire? Not one, but both died?

Velimir. He just shouted: “I’m not afraid of death. We will go to the true God together, into eternal life. But Perun is not your God!”

Everything is quiet). Isn't Perun God? Did he say so?

Pause.

Book Vladimir. Well, dear guests, I don’t feel like feasting anymore. Goodbye friends, be healthy!

Vigilantes. Be healthy, prince! And we'll go.

A curtain.

PHENOMENON 2

The same chamber, but the table at which they feasted has been removed. Prince Vladimir and Dobrynya are talking together.

Dobrynya. Why are you sad, prince? What are you thinking about?

Book Vladimir. And I don’t know myself, Dobrynyushka. (Pause.) I can’t forget how Fedor the Varangian, my beloved warrior, died. I can’t get his words out of my head: “Your Perun is a wooden doll! I’m going to the true God, to eternal life!” Who is this true God? You know, I myself don’t really believe that our Perun rules the whole world... In other countries they also believe differently.

Dobrynya. How else?

Book Vladimir. It’s true, I don’t know myself, but I ordered knowledgeable people to be brought to me. Let them tell you how they pray to God... (Pause.) Well, it seems that they are coming,

Servant. Prince, scientists from different countries have come to you here. They say you called them. Will you order me to let you in?

Book Vladimir. Ask them here, ask them.

Enter a Persian in a robe and turban, a Jew, also in long clothes, a small cap, with long side locks, and a Greek monk in long black clothes and a hood. All three bow to the prince, each in his own way.

Thank you for coming at my call. I would like to know how you believe in God, what God do you worship, how do you live like God?

Mohammedan. Great is our one God, Allah, Mohammed His Prophet!

Book Vladimir. That you have one God is good, but to live as He tells you?

Mohammedan. It is a holy thing to kill the enemies of Allah, you must bow to the ground to him five times a day, you must fast and not drink wine.

Book Vladimir. Your faith is kind of boring, you can’t kill, bow down and feast... But I love fun.

Jew. And we, prince, believe in one God, who created the whole world, everything that is in it. God chose us as his people and gave us ten laws that we must follow: love God and people, do not lie, do not kill, do not deceive, honor your parents, and every seventh day do not work, but give to God.

Book Vladimir. What? This faith seems to be better. Where is your country?

Jew. For our sins, God took our country from us and scattered us throughout the world.

Book Vladimir. How can this be? After all, if we now accept your faith, then maybe your God will take our country away too? And we want to serve God with our whole country... (Addressing the Greek.) What can you tell me about your faith? I know that my grandmother, Princess Olga, fell in love with her.

Greek. And we, prince, believe in one God who created everything. But we know that God loves people so much that He Himself took upon Himself to suffer for our sins, gave His life for us, died and conquered death, and thereby gave us eternal life. We are preparing for this eternal life while we live on earth. Look, prince! (He unrolls a long scroll with a picture in front of the prince. Pause. Prince Vladimir sits thoughtfully. All three ambassadors are standing.)

Narrator (reads). The conversation between Prince Vladimir and the visiting scientists lasted a long time. The words of the Greek had a strong effect on him, but he still could not decide which faith was better. And it occurred to him to send his people to travel around different countries, to see what kind of faith there was.

PHENOMENON 3

Prince Vladimir, Dobrynya, several warriors are standing at the window.

Dobrynya. Someday our ambassadors will return from Constantinople. It's been several months since they left.

Book Vladimir. I'm exhausted waiting for them! After all, all the others returned - both from Caesar of Rome and from the Sultan. They tell and tell, but my heart does not belong to these beliefs...

Dobrynya. Maybe it's better for us to stay with our old Gods?

Book Vladimir. Since I don’t have faith in them, how can I stay with them?

Shouts can be heard behind the stage: “They are coming... They are coming...”

Listen, it's like they're screaming. (Vladimir and Dobrynya peer into the distance.) You can see far from here!

Dobrynya. Indeed, our boats are like swans! Vigilantes. Our! Our! They're floating! They will be mooring now!

If a curtain is used during production, it must be closed for a minute. If there is no curtain, the narrator says.

Narrator. Soon the ambassadors who had returned from Constantinople came to Prince Vladimir. Three ambassadors enter. They bow to Prince Vladimir.

Ambassadors (together). Hello, Prince-Sovereign! We're glad to be back home!

Book Vladimir. Hello, my good ambassadors! Did you have a good trip? Have you brought good news?

1st Ambassador Our hearts are full of joy, prince!

2nd Ambassador We brought you great joy!

Book Vladimir. Speak, speak quickly!

3rd Ambassador We came, prince, to the Greeks, and they led us to their large temple, where they serve God!

Book Vladimir (gets up, comes forward and speaks solemnly). My heart feels, feels, that we have found a priceless treasure, the true faith... I, friends, have decided to go to the Greek country to obtain the Orthodox faith for our Rus'!

A curtain.

Narrator. And Prince Vladimir gathered his army and went to the Greek country. There he received holy baptism, took Anna, the sister of the emperors, as his wife, and returned to Kyiv to baptize his people and teach them the Christian Orthodox faith.

The choir sings the ballad “Along the bosom of the Dnieper shining waters...”

PROLOGUE

ACT ONE

Narrator. It was a hot summer in Radonezh. The peasants have just returned from mowing. Cyril and Maria returned home with their eldest son Stefan, and their younger sons, Bartholomew and Peter, met them at home. The father sent Bartholomew to drive the foals from the forest and give them water. Taking the whip and bridle, Bartholomew went. The sun was high. It was so hot that even the birds became silent, only the grasshoppers chirped incessantly in the grass. Bartholomew came down from the hill and went to the forest. A song could be heard from a distance.

Choir (backstage).

Oh, how the father has only one son,

He wanted to take a walk,

Take a walk on someone else's side.

His father tells him,

His father tells him and punishes him:

“Listen, child, to the instructions,

Don’t go, child, to feasts, brotherhoods,

And don’t think, child, of deceiving, lying,

Don’t think evil, child, against your father or mother,

And then the Lord will protect from evil.”

Narrator:. Bartholomew did not find the foals. He went out into the clearing, knelt down and began to quietly pray.

Bartholomew.

My God, Father, hear me,

I know - you are with me always, everywhere,

Don't leave me, don't leave me in trouble,

Because I am your child.

Quietly I talk with You,

Words fall into the heart, into the heart,

They pour, they pour like blue:

Obedience, Love and Peace.

My God, Father, hear me,

See, see, I cry in silence.

Hurry, hurry to help me,

After all, I am Your child, oh my God.

He crosses himself, gets up, and walks along the path into the depths of the forest.

Narrator. For almost half a day the boy wandered through the Radonezh forests. The sun was slowly setting. Coming out into the clearing, he saw a monk standing in front of an oak tree on which an icon hung. Bartholomew knelt beside him and patiently waited for the end of the prayer.

Elder. What are you looking for, what do you want?

Bartholomew. I was sent to learn to read and write, but I still haven’t learned to read. Pray for me, so that I may understand the teachings of the books.

Elder(raises his hands, prays diligently in silence, sighs). Amen. (Takes out a piece of prosphora from the bag and gives it to the youth.) Take it and eat it. It seems like a small gift, but its sweetness is great.

Bartholomew. Thank you. (Eats prosphora.)

Elder. Don’t worry about literacy, child. From now on, the Lord will grant you the ability to read better than your brothers and peers.

Bartholomew. Don't go, holy father. My parents love people like you. Come visit us.

Bartholomew and the elder leave together. The curtain closes for a minute. When the curtain opens again, the scene depicts the inside of the hut: a table, benches, and a case with icons in the corner. Maria sets the table. Before eating, the elder gives Bartholomew a psalter.

Elder. Read, my son!

Bartholomew(loud and clear). How sweet is Your word to my throat, more than honey to my lips...

Kirill(in amazement). Father-Mr., wait, resolve our sorrow, comfort our poverty. We were rich, we lived as boyars in Rostov the Great, but the Tatars ruined us, and now we are poor here. Try our treat.

The old man sits down at the table.

Stephen(approaches Bartholomew and asks in a whisper). Where did you find the foals?

Bartholomew. They came home on their own while I was looking for them.

Elder(getting up from the table). Thank you, hospitable hosts.

Kirill. Stay with us, holy father, spend the night.

Elder(attracting Bartholomew to him). I can not. And you rejoice about the boy. He will be great before God and people. He will be a servant of the Holy Trinity and will lead many to God.

The elder goes out of the gate, his whole family sees him off.

ACT TWO

Narrator. Eight years have passed. Stefan married and lived separately. The youngest, Peter, also got married this year. Only Bartholomew remained with his parents. And he asked his father.

Bartholomew. Father, so Peter left his father’s house. And you know my secret desire - let me go into the forests.

Father. Wait, child. We have become old. We live in poverty, in disease. Serve us as we served you.

Narrator. Bartholomew stayed and did not leave his parents until the end of their days. Several more years passed. Kirill and Maria became monks in a monastery in Khotkovo, and soon died. Bartholomew, having seen them off on their last journey, commemorated them at home for forty days, and then, leaving the entire inheritance to Peter, came to Khotkovo to the Mother of God Monastery to Stephen and said: “Hello, brother. I buried my parents, and after your wife’s death you were left alone. I ask you, come with me to the desert and let’s pray.” Stefan agreed, and together they went into the dense forest in the vicinity of Khotkov. It is not known how long they spent there, but Stefan could not bear the lonely life in the deep forest.

A tired, exhausted Stefan emerges from the forest in a monastic robe. The abbot comes towards him.

Stephen. Bless, Holy Father.

Mitrofan(blessing). Where are you going from?

Stephen. This spring my brother Bartholomew and I went into the forests. They cut down the temple and erected cells. The temple was erected in the name of the Holy Trinity. But I couldn’t bear the hard life. Gone. And the brother asked to send a priest to him.

Mitrofan. This is a godly thing. Will I go out this path to my brother?

Stephen. If you don’t turn away from it, you’ll come to him in the evening.

They bow to each other and disperse.

Narrator. In the evening, Mitrofan comes to the clearing. In the middle there is a wooden temple. A spring gurgles under the oak tree.

Bartholomew(blessing). Let's go to the temple, child. Today is the memory of the martyrs Sergius and Bacchus. To be your monk Sergius.

They go to church.

Narrator. Hegumen Mitrofan Bartholomew tonsured him as a monk and gave him the name Sergius. Saying goodbye to monk Sergius, he said to him.

Mitrofan. You are left alone in the desert. Arm yourself with fasting and vigil against Satan. (Leaves.)

Sergius. Lord, You came to me in Holy Communion. Give me the strength to remain in fasting and prayer, at least for a short time. (Prayers.)

Demons.

Get out of here!

If you don't run away, we'll tear you to pieces!

So you will die in our hands!

Go away, run away from here!

Sergius(crosses himself and prays).
